Aughnasheelin Community First Responder Group Launch
Following the period of stand down since Covid struck in March 2020, as a group we have decided to affiliate with National Ambulance Service, for support and governance. In our new venture with National Ambulance Service, members of this group will be informed by the National Emergency Operations Centre when a call is put through to the National Ambulance Service by a member of the public within 10 Km radius of the Community Centre in Aughnasheelin. We will respond to this call as requested, but this is a voluntary service and response may not always be possible. We will endeavour to respond with our basic expertise and as a support to family members. We are a support to the National Ambulance Service and the ambulance will always be en route to the scene.
