Local Notes Feb 13th

Sympathy
Deepest sympathy is extended to the Lee and Heeran families on the death of Peter Lee (formerly Ardagh, Fenagh/Dublin) who passed away recently.  May he rest in peace

Fenagh Drama
Fenagh Drama Troupe wish to thank everyone who attended our production of Tommy Marren’s, 3 Act Comedy, “The Real McCoy”.  We trust you enjoyed the night(s) and had a few laughs. Behind every production and every night, there are so many people who help behind the scenes.  We wish to thank each and every person who assisted in any way.   There are too many to name however we do hope you know who much we appreciate your help. The fourth night was a fundraiser in aid of Cancer Care which sadly seems to impact so many families.  The response was overwhelming with many people making donations having already attended the play.  The final figure raised on the night was €3,000 however we are still receiving donations.  Further details will follow shortly with regard to distribution of the funds.  We look forward to next year and a new play, and also wish our neighbouring parishes all the best in their forthcoming plays.
