Hello Barbara ..thanks for getting in touch. Are the Riley family originally from Fenagh? I would suggest contacting the Genealogy Centre in Ballinamore at http://www.leitrimroots.com they have a comprehensive database of births deaths marriages and would be a good starting point in your search.

Hi Teresa, I have already worked with the genealogy center in Ballinamore years ago. I stumbled upon this message from Barbara Clifford about my family. Would you be able to send her my e-mail address and ask her to get in touch with me? Thank you!
We will be traveling to Ireland this March…I’m told that Maggie Elizabeth Fenn immigrated from Fenagh to America during the potato famine. Would you have any information about her family?
Jennie – you could contact the Genealogy Centre in Ballinamore at http://www.irelandroots.com to start your search. We only have graveyard records in the Centre. Also is it definitely Fenagh Co Leitrim as there is also a Fenagh in County Carlow. Good luck in your search and do call to the Visitor Centre in March and let us know how you got on.

Hello, I was wondering if there is a list of the surnames on the local grave stones at the older cemeteries.
Paula – any listings we have are on the http://www.fenagh.com website – there are also some stones that are no longer legible.
